We calculate the true total cost of every major wireless plan in the US — including state and local taxes, federal fees, autopay discounts, and eligibility discounts — personalized to your zip code and household. No guessing. No surprises. Just the number you'll actually see on your bill.

What Makes Us Different

  • True cost, not sticker price. Every plan comparison includes taxes and fees for your location. Other comparison sites show the advertised price. We show what you'll pay.
  • Personalized to you. Your zip code, line count, data usage, and eligible discounts all affect which plan is cheapest. Our calculator factors in all of it.

Who Built This

TrueCellCost was built by James C., a technology executive in Dallas, TX who got tired of paying too much for wireless and realized that the information to make a better choice simply didn't exist in one place. The site combines real carrier pricing data, state-level tax calculations, and a recommendation engine to answer the one question every wireless customer has: "am I paying too much?"

How We Make Money

When you click through to a carrier from our site and sign up, we may earn a commission. This is standard in the comparison industry and is how we keep the site free. Importantly: our recommendations are ranked by total cost to you, not by how much a carrier pays us. We compare plans from carriers we have affiliate relationships with and carriers we don't.
